I have always (and will always) LOVE animals. Growing up in rural Illinois, we had a couple indoor cats, a dog, chickens, a few ducks, one crazy Canadian goose, and two horses. If you couldn't find me, I was at the barn with my horse, or sitting with the chickens. My first job was at a vet's office. I always thought (along with my family) that I would go on to become a veterinarian. Life has a funny way of changing your plans. So here I am, living in Virginia, currently animal-less. So when the Potomac Riverboat Co. asked me to photograph their Halloween themed canine cruise, I jumped on it!This was a true joy for me. I had such a wonderful time interacting with the furry loves and their owners. All of the pups behaved beautifully. Minimal barking, no fighting, and no accidents! Just care free exuberance of a boat ride as only a dog can enjoy. I was in heaven, and left with love in my heart, and doggy hair on my clothes. If you haven't taken your pup on a canine cruise with the Potomac Riverboat Co before, be sure to keep you eye out for the next one. Fun for everyone!
